Effective Teaching Reflections

Today I had a very interesting talk with Cameron about the real impact that I can have on the musical education of my students by having more than 600 souls under my responsibility. In logistical terms it is quite complicated (almost impossible) to offer a truly meaningful music education to so many students, so one of the things we talked about was a more genuine integration of the arts into the classroom on special projects. Another idea that we left on the table was the creation of an after school program, a band program could be highly attractive to both students and parents, as well as meaningful.

Daily Action

Think of organic ways to integrate music within general units. Think interdisciplinarity
